Characterization and Corrosion Behavior of Biodegradable

In the present study binary Mg-xCa (x=0.5 and 1.25wt.%) and ternary Mg-1Ca-xZn (x=0.5 and 1.5wt.%) alloys are produced by casting the molten metal in a metal die at a temperature of 740°C. The microstructure analysis of the Mg-Ca and Mg-Ca-Zn alloys were studied by OM, SEM and EDX. The corrosion behavior of alloys was evaluated via potentiodynamic polarization test in Kokubo solution. In-Situ Raman Characterization of Initial Corrosion In order to investigate the role of chloride ion in the corrosion film formation of copper and its evolution over time, the initial corrosion behavior of copper in neutral 3.5% (wt.) NaCl solution was characterized by in-situ Raman spectroscopy along with electrochemical tests. The results demonstra

MICROSTRUCTURAL CHARACTERIZATION AND

Some characteristic electrochemical parameters such as corrosion potential, pitting potential, passive current densities and protection potential were utilized as important parameters to evaluate the corrosion behavior of Alloy 800 in high temperature aqueous solutions. Metals Special Issue :The Electrochemical and Corrosion Apr 10, 2020 · The corrosion behavior of 2205 DSS in HCl solutions containing sulfide were investigated using mass loss test, electrochemical measurements, scanning Kelvin probe, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Microstructure characterization and corrosion behavior of Dec 01, 2020 · Corrosion behavior The corrosion behaviors of the as-cast and solution-treated alloys were examined by the hydrogen evolution test and electrochemical analyses. The device used for hydrogen collection and volume measurement was made by a set of glass apparatus including beaker, burette and funnel.
